Great Games To Compete Against Your Friends - Directly or Indirectly
This article nearly missed its deadline because of this very game - a sheer sign of its addictiveness. The concept behind OMGPOP's Draw Something is nothing less than ingenious. It's a version of Pictionary that you can effortlessly play with friends online, usually by importing contacts via email or Facebook. Simply choose a word of varying difficulty, draw it to the best of your ability and send it to a friend. Play then keeps continuing until someone fails to guess the picture and your winning streak is reset to zero. Coins are awarded for correctly guessed pictures (the greater the difficulty of the word you have drawn or guessed, the more coins you are awarded) and can be put towards additional colours to give your drawings added flair. It needs more words to choose from, but we'd hazard a guess by the popularity of this app, it's only going to get better with additional updates.
Prose With Bros ($1.99)
Prose With Bros is great fun - and not just because we have dirty little minds. It's a great idea that allows for plenty of smutty and humorous wordplay.
The only downside to Worms 2: Armageddon is some fiddly controls. Get past these and you'll discover a fantastic strategy game that's an absolute blast - especially when played online, This is mainly due to the clever turn-based play, bright cartoony visuals and sheer number of crazy weapons in your arsenal.
